Not the way we do it. Cedar, vinyl, HardiePlank, and brick get soft-wash treatment. Concrete and pavers get the higher pressure they can take. We never blast painted surfaces.
We pre-rinse beds before detergent goes down and post-rinse them after. We use plant-safe surfactants on house siding so your hydrangeas live to see another summer.
A driveway and walkway combo is usually 2 to 3 hours. Whole-house siding is half a day. Big patio plus driveway plus fence packages run a full day.
Concrete is walkable as soon as it's rinsed. Decks dry in a couple of hours. Cedar siding looks lighter for a day or two then settles back to its real tone.
