Does soft washing void my shingle warranty?+

Soft washing, done correctly, does not. Pressure washing very often does. Most shingle manufacturers actually require regular cleaning to keep the warranty active, and they specify low-pressure methods. We work to that spec. If you have the warranty documentation handy, we are happy to review the maintenance requirements with you before we start.

Is soft washing safe on cedar shake?+

Yes, with the right solution and rinse pressure. Cedar is more sensitive than asphalt, so we use a lower concentration and allow more dwell time before rinsing.
