Does soft washing void my shingle warranty?+

Soft washing at low pressure does not. Pressure washing very often does. Most manufacturers require regular cleaning to keep the warranty active, and the maintenance spec they reference is low-pressure application. That is how we work.

Oak Bay has a lot of cedar roofs. Do you clean those?+

Yes, and we adjust the method for it. Cedar is more sensitive than asphalt shingles, so we run a milder solution concentration and allow a longer dwell time before rinsing. We do not treat cedar the same as a standard asphalt roof.

How long does a roof cleaning take?+
